🛡️ Short version: TaxiMeter Pro never stores, transmits, or sells your GPS location data. All location processing happens inside your browser. We do not require an account, email, or any personal information to use this tool.
TaxiMeter Pro ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at taximeter.online. We provide a free, browser-based GPS taxi fare calculator. Our contact email is hello@taximeter.online.

When you click "Start Ride," your browser requests access to your device's GPS through the standard W3C Geolocation API. This requires your explicit permission.
All GPS data is processed locally in your browser only. Your coordinates are used to: (a) display your position on the map, (b) calculate the distance travelled, and (c) compute your estimated fare. This data is never sent to any server.
When you close or refresh the page, all GPS data is immediately discarded.

This data is anonymous and does not include your GPS location. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
TaxiMeter Pro displays advertisements through Google AdSense to fund the free operation of this service. Google AdSense may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

TaxiMeter Pro does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The tool requires no account creation and collects no personal data from any user.
